Who am I?

Hello world! I’m just a regular twenty something year old guy, living in Los Angeles, CA, who over the past two years has become absolutely addicted to personal finance. Like most spry, energetic, young chaps my age, I enjoy: boozing, sports, material possessions, boobs, ass, and anything else relevant to living the sweet life. While I’m currently an engineer by trade…and actually enjoy doing math? I don’t believe that the intricacies of personal finance have to be limited to anybody with a natural inclination for numbers. Some quick facts about me: I graduated from a good public university in California 3 years ago, I took an entire year off after graduation to travel the world, my entire extended family works in either banking or finance, yet when I first started working, I knew absolutely nothing about how to manage my own money.

What’s this blog about?

Like the tagline suggests, I’m all about making money, personal development, and living life to the fullest. This blog will follow a threefold path:

#1 One aspect of this blog will be to chronicle my journey to financial freedom. While I certainly don’t harbor any aspirations of becoming the next big billionaire, I believe that’s its certainly possible for anyone, with a little bit of patience and a little bit of dedication, to achieve financial freedom. My ultimate dream is this: to make enough money where I can do whatever I want, whenever I want – to work simply because I choose to and because I enjoy it. In fact, at that point “work” shouldn’t even be called “work,” I would just be having 24/7 funtime… professionally.

#2 My second goal is to create a forum to share best practices for personal development. Not to come across as pedantic… but I believe that learning is the key ingredient to any successful future.

“As soon as you close your mind to the possibility of other realities, you are closing yourself off to greater opportunities that lie waiting for you.” – Bill Gates

I love reading personal development books, taking different classes, and learning new skills. In fact, I find that skills are like hot girls…you can never have too many!

#3 What’s the point of acquiring boatloads of cash and mad skills if you don’t enjoy it! This is where I’m going to share and explore all the wonderful sweetness life can offer. Share what you love too and we can love it together!

Please note: I am not a financial advisor, nor do I have any professional financial training. Everything on this site should be used at your own discretion, but I’ll do my best to share the fruits of my learning in the most entertaining and informative way possible. As always comments, suggestions, fan mail, and constructive criticism are openly welcomed.
